Selection guide of induction lamp
The electrodeless lamp is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction and transfers energy through a magnetic field, instead of using electrodes to convert external electrical energy into the energy required for internal work of the lamp by using electric fields like ordinary fluorescent lamps. Since the coupler is a key component to transfer energy, the quality of the magnetic tube used by the coupler is very important to the quality of the electrodeless lamp, so you must know what magnetic core is used in the lamp.
Since the electrodeless lamp has no electrodes, and there are no vulnerable components in the lamp tube, the life of the entire system mainly depends on the electronic ballast, so the life of this type of lamp is very long, which can reach more than 60,000 hours. It is especially suitable for places with difficult and expensive lamp replacement and important places with high safety requirements. Such as tunnels, complex traffic zones, subway stations, factories with high ceilings, dangerous area lighting, halls, sports fields, etc.
Precautions for installation of induction lamp
The power supply must be cut off during installation to ensure safety.
Make sure the wiring port is correct before powering on.
If abnormal operation (self-extinguishment, flashing) is found, the power supply should be turned off immediately and removed and checked by a professional. .
The bottom of the bulb (coupler base) and the fixture of the lamp must be firmly connected and in close contact to ensure good heat dissipation.
The shielding wire between the bulb and the high-frequency generator must not be lengthened or shortened.
The bulb and high-frequency generator are required to be grounded separately during installation.
No matter what kind of lamp is used, the lamp housing must be grounded.
The ignition time of the light source when it is not connected to the lamp should not exceed 1n minutes (let the lamp itself play the role of heat dissipation).
When the bulb is on or just turned off, you should not touch the bulb directly with your hands to avoid burns.
The coupler and high-frequency generator cannot be changed at will.
Neither electrodeless lamps nor high-frequency generators can be installed on lamps without heat sinks.
Occasionally, the electrodeless lamp does not turn on, or turns off after turning on, please check the heat dissipation device of the lamp.
If the generator is installed in a closed electrical box, the upper cover of the generator can be removed.
