(1) Connect the sample between the high-voltage output terminal and the ground terminal.
(2) Plug in the power cord and turn on the power switch. The "high voltage" indicator (green) is on, and the "high voltage on" indicator (red) is off; the voltage and current indicators, and the 0.75 times voltage indicator are both displayed. Is zero.
(3) Turn the voltage and current setting knob clockwise to the end, and the voltage adjustment knob to the zero position counterclockwise. (Note: The voltage adjustment knob is not in the zero position, and the "high voltage on" button cannot be activated)
(4) Press the "high voltage on" button lightly, the "high voltage on" indicator (red) lights up, slowly adjust the voltage adjustment knob to the required voltage value for testing. During the test, the voltage display meter indicates the test voltage value in kV; the 0.75 times voltage display table 11 indicates 75% of the test voltage value in kV; the current display table 7 indicates the test current value in uA.
(5) Press the 0.75 times voltage display latch button during the test of the sample, the 0.75 times voltage display meter display value is locked, and maintaining the displayed value is inconvenient, so it can be conveniently used as a reference voltage when doing a zinc oxide arrester test.
(6) Press the timer ON button at any time to start the time relay. When the timer reaches the preset time, the buzzer will sound an alarm and cut off the high voltage output at the same time.
(7) During the test, if the load current exceeds 0-10% of the rated output current of the instrument, the "overcurrent" indicator lights up and overcurrent protection prevents damage to the test specimen and the instrument.
(8) During the test, if the test voltage exceeds 0-10% of the rated output voltage of the instrument, the "overvoltage" indicator lights up and is over-protected to prevent damage to the test product and the instrument.
(9) After the test, turn the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to the zero position, and the voltage display meter slowly returns to the zero position. When the three display meters show zero values, press the "high voltage point" button lightly. At this time, the "high voltage on" indicator (red) turns off, the "high voltage point" indicator (green) turns on, and then turn off the power switch.
(10) When the electric capacity of the test object is very large, after the voltage adjustment knob is turned to the zero position and adjusted to the zero position, the output voltage display meter cannot be returned to zero. Then, press the "high voltage point" button before shutting down. Then use the discharge rod to discharge the test object, and then remove the test object wiring.
