From the gypsum resources of industrial by-products, there are a large number of such by-products in many areas in China. The production of phosphogypsum from phosphoric acid and phosphate fertilizer processes, titanium gypsum from the production of titanium dioxide, and the production of lemon gypsum from citric acid production processes are a worldwide problem. This new process, while opening up new ways for sulfuric acid production, also provides a solution for the treatment of waste gypsum and realizes the organic unity of economic benefits, social benefits, and environmental benefits.
