Type K Thermocouple Compensation Conductor Characteristics
1. Conductor Maximum Operating Temperature: Heat Rating: Poly Full * Ethylene Propylene (F46) 200°C, Soluble Polytetrafluoroethylene* 260°C, Silicone Rubber 180°C, Ordinary Grade: Polyvinyl Chloride 70°C and 105°C, Crosslinked Polyethylene 90 °C, low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant polyolefin 70 °C, cross-linked 90 °C and 125 °C.
2. Low ambient temperature: PVC jacket: fixed laying -40 °C, non-fixed laying -15 °C, plastic insulation and jacket: fixed laying -60 °C, non-fixed laying -20 °C.
3. The allowable bending radius of the cable: the minimum non-armored cable is 6 times the outer diameter, the minimum diameter of the copper tape shield or tape armored cable is 12 times the outer diameter of the cable, and the minimum of the plastic insulation and sheath is 10 times the outer diameter of the cable.
Type K thermocouple compensation leads are the most commonly used thermocouples. It is connected to the regulating and display instrument and almost without exception copper-copper-nickel 40 compensation wires are used. This type of compensation wire is inexpensive. However, the mechanical properties of the positive and negative pole materials are very different. The strength of the positive pole wire is extremely poor, and it is not resistant to deflection. Therefore, it is designed to have a relatively thick wire diameter, resulting in inconvenience in installation and use. This is a disadvantage that it cannot overcome. PVC insulated and sheathed compensating wires or cables generally have excellent moisture-proof, wear-resistant and flame-retardant characteristics; high-temperature* plastic insulated and sheathed compensating wires or cables adopt a continuous extrusion process, and are more resistant to high temperatures and cold. The advantages of acid and alkali resistant oil, water, non-flammable, anti-aging and other advantages, the product quality is higher than the national standard GB/T4989-94 (equivalent to IEC584-3).
