According to the Shandong Provincial Department of Oceans and Fisheries, the first new diesel-electric hybrid propulsion longline fishing boat in Shandong Province was successfully launched in Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., with a total length of 44.90m, a width of 7.5m and a depth of 3.45m. Ton 380, the main engine power is 596kW, the design speed is 11 knots, and the endurance is about 8000 nautical miles. The ship's power system consists of a diesel engine and a variable frequency motor. The fishing boat is propelled by a diesel engine at full speed. The main engine drives the propeller by decelerating the gearbox. When the fishing and fishing operations are carried out, the propulsion motor is used for propulsion. And the gear box is disengaged, the power supply is supplied to the variable frequency motor through the mooring generator set, and the propeller is driven after being decelerated by the gear box. Compared with traditional technology, the advanced diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system can effectively adjust the ship's speed, greatly save fuel consumption and reduce pollution emissions.
During the construction of the ship, the Shidao detachment surveyor strictly inspected according to the rules and regulations and drawings, and visited the site to supervise and inspect the important issues such as the laying of the tire frame, the keel placement, the segmentation and the launching of the fishing boat. Promptly proposed and properly resolved to ensure the quality of the ship's construction. As of now, the ship is in an intensive commissioning phase.
