South Korea's Mirae wins orders for Daewoo's 4 drilling vessels
South Korea's Mirae Industrial Co., Ltd. announced that it has re-ordered the installation of windlass and winches for four drilling vessels built by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering.
It is reported that in order to realize the localization of offshore equipment, Mirae Industrial Company has invested heavily in R&D and improvement of equipment and launched independent products. In 2009, the company developed its own brand of windlass and winches for drilling vessels and drilling platforms, and delivered them to 10 vessels.
