Inner Mongolia Metrology Institute's scientific research achievements won the Autonomous Region Science and Technology Progress Award

[ China Instrument Network Instrument R&D ] The scientific research achievement of "F2 grade weight standard device mobile laboratory research and development" developed by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Metrology and Testing Institute won the third prize of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Progress Award.

The “F2 Level Weight Standard Device Mobile Lab R&D” science and technology project is a scientific research project initiated by the Science and Technology Department of the Autonomous Region and led by President Lu Jinhua. This standard device is China's first mobile laboratory for on-site verification of M1 grade and below 500kg, 1000kg standard weight, and obtained two national patents for weight standard device mobile laboratory and self-filling airbag protection device. The results are technologically advanced, the laboratory structure is reasonable, and the sports function is strong. It is convenient to go to the enterprise and the grassroots metrology technical institutions to carry out the verification work on site, which not only improves the work efficiency, but also saves the human and material resources and transportation costs for the customers, filling the country. The blank of the project from the inspection to the door-to-door service effectively guarantees the integrity and quality of the national quantitative transmission system. In June 2016, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Metrology and Testing Institute signed a patent technology conversion contract with Beijing Tongni Technology Co., Ltd., and successfully realized the productization of scientific research results.
In recent years, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Metrology and Testing Institute has attached great importance to scientific research, giving full play to the leading role of the regional scientific research pioneers, and vigorously implementing measures such as strengthening organizational leadership, improving working mechanisms, strengthening the construction of talent teams, and increasing investment in scientific research. The rotating cantilevered (free hanging) mixing screws convey the product from bottom of the vessel to the product surface. The mixing screws are suspended from an orbital arm, which rotates the mixing screws along the conical inner vessel wall causing convective mixing of particles and shear.

The speed of particles in the downward massflow when recirculated by gravity in a conical vessel increases as the vessel diameter decreases. The result of these simultaneous actions is a fast and intensive mixing with low consumption of power together with high standards of mixing accuracy.
