Therefore, dry or wet magnetic separation technology can be used. By separating the wollastonite from it, a large amount of iron-containing minerals can be separated to improve the purity of the product. Wollastonite single flotation is based on the difference in physical and chemical properties of wollastonite and calcite minerals. It can be effectively separated from each other by flotation, thereby improving the purity of wollastonite products.

Another method of wollastonite beneficiation is the magnetic separation-flotation combined process, which is suitable for the treatment of low grade wollastonite. The weak magnetic mineral is first separated by dry or wet magnetic separation. The wollastonite is then separated from the minerals such as calcite and quartz by flotation.
